Hi all,

Plenty going on it seems,

Firstly I must apologize to all those waiting for the Class 20 upgrade, it has been completed and ready for nearly three weeks, RSC and STEAM are obviously very busy, so much for the ease of upgrading via STEAM.

The Peaks are done and complete, but I have the same issue with upgrading people who bought from STEAM so I have decided to hold so all can receive at same time as soon as I get a date.

Plenty of queries about the Merchant Navy, still not got the soundset i want and its not possible to hire Clan Line at the moment. I will put it out before christmas come what may.

Further TS2012 upgrades, the class 33 Is now ready and released later today, the pack has been expanded to include the 33/1 variant ( sometimes you just can't leave some folks enough room :-) ).

Liveries are :-

33/0 in green, green small panel, green full yellow

33/0 BR blue, 33/1 BR Blue, 33/0 NSE, 33/1 NSE

33/0 in Dutch, Grey , Sector Construction, Sector Distribution.

I have also included a pre release model of the class 73... this will be for a limited time only

As will the Super Special Price

All the locomotives now have a completely new texture set optimixed for TS2012.. and contrary to popular belief, that is what takes the time in the upgrades... but reckon I have found the swet spot.

Check out the screens on IHH facebook

All customers who have purchased the 33's will receive an email

( the one you used to purchase the 33, so check your junk mail / spam folders )

I am completely confident in putting my models alongside any other. I wonder if all can say that ?

So you guys get the opportunity to purchase THE BEST models out there for a cut price.. enjoy.

Now what shall I make tomorrow.. ? sure it will upset someone no matter what I do :-)

Finally,

When purchasing TREBLE check your supplied email Address.. if its wrong you won't receive it.

and

A reminder to Archive your purchases preferably to disk,

my ecommerce supplier FasrSpring is not STEAM and there is no guarantee how long I will be able to retrieve.

Soon be holidays.. enjoy the loco's

Hi all,

Couple of things to keep you in the picture,

Firstly, implementation problems encountered by my e-commerce company regarding the subscription service means that I have had to withdraw the proposed subscription scheme. hopefully we wil find a solution.

Kestrel, the free offer has now ended, Kestrel will be back as a fully featured locomotive later, I now have access to some definative cab and performance data.

Updates to IHH stock for TS 2012.... still waiting for a few things to settle down ( RSC are still making changes)

These will be released ASAP.

Hi to all, its been far too long since I updated the news section.

Spring and Summer has seen a batch of releases, from the class 40 through the baby Sulzer range.

Autumn and winter have an exciting line up that may surprise a few.

To Celebrate the release of RW Train Simulator 2012 IHH are pleased to celebrate with firstly

A free to all model of HS4000 Kestrel, I used to see this reguarly in the late sixties and truely deserves its iconic status.

Secondly ....... watch out for a blockbuster deal, timed to co-incide with the release of TS 2012.

A completely new soundset is now available for the class 56. see the links on LH side of homepage.

A big Steamer on the way probably October

TS2012 News

I can assure all customers that all IHH content works just fine in 2012 as is...... In fact I am extremely pleased to say that the IHH method of high detail modelling down to a viewing range if >2m pays huge dividends, increasing even further the void between those models made for default viewing optimization.

You are in for a treat.....

Upcoming possibilities ?

We have a test forum in place, and hope to be putting it live soon.

Couple of proviso's here

The intention is that the forum deals entirely with fact, if you want a place to express an opinion, speculate or partake in gossip or gain brownie points.........this will not be the place... plenty of jungle forums out there for that

Why is this........

practically without exeption, most forums have become nothing more than a place for a very few commentators to try and demonstrate to the world just how clever they are..... the forum is their hobby not train simulation.

IHH will not partake in conversations.....

Each product will have its own forum which is the place to ask relative questions etc

IHH will respond in the form of a statement in a completely seperate Works Manager Forum.

Any opinions speculation etc. will simply be dumped, without comment or explanation.

Here we don't just talk ...... we do.

Have fun with TS2012

Feb 15th 2011

A belated new year to all, and a big thankyou for the warm reception that the Duchess and Class 25 received,

There is now a patch available for the Duchess covering the following issues.

Brake responce........... now on par with other IHH locomotives.

NEW-YRK scenarios..... corrected the reference to wagons from Class 20 add-on ( now bonus content )

Fire anim....................fire anim now calls correct textures

Particle FX..................all particle fx now configured to take advantage of improved core code.

Thoughts on the alternative cab / headout view

As you may well have noticed both the Duchess and Class 25 have an alternative arrangement, Pressing the 1 key will take you to drivers headout position... from there you simply use the right arrow key to enter the cab view.

here are some of the benefits as I see them

1. quick movement from cab to head-out and back again

2. no need to adjust focus point or zoom when switching

3. aws audible and visible from head-out position

4. gauges still working abd readable in head-out

5. controls can still be operated from head out

6. improved eye position available because developers can now edit geometry on drivers side ( it is not viewed from the other side of cab) ... the rh shift+2 view sees the LP cab model not the cab itself.

Let me know how you guys (and gals) get on with it... I can supply orthodox arrangements but ask you to give it a good try first.

Upcoming Projects

Hot on the heels of the class 25 will be a full upgrade with cab / sounds etc to one of the WR Diesels locomotives

This will be available as a paid upgrade for those with the WR Diesels pack or as a complete standalone, the results will be identical.

This should be followed around the end of March by another completely new "Classic Diesel"......... The goal of complete representaion of all the BR classic diesels moves a step closer.

Steam lovers are not forgotten... another large and powerful locomotive is up for early summer... Waiting on hire arrangements at the moment though.

Withdrawal from STEAM

I have removed IHH locomotives from STEAM, this was my decision and is in full agreement with RSC.

Reasoning behind it is that revenue does not match that from the web site, and restricted my ability to offer packages and special offers...... RSC were also in the same boat.

I am considering offering a book club type of arrangement, whereby members make a regular monthly payment in return they get to choose items at a discount with the odd free gift thrown in every now and again.

Any thoughts ?

Feel free to drop me a line by email

Weekly / Monthly Chat room clinics

Yet another idea, I have used this in the past within the flightsimming community.

How it works is.... I will give out two chat room addresses.. the green room and the studio

The Green Room is open and where you will submit a question to my assistant. :-)

The studio is read only until you are invited in, when you can submit your questions and engage in chat with me or one of my guest developers.

Any interest? again drop me an email

Enjoy the loco's... till next time

Hi and a very merry christmas to all IHH customers,

Work on the Duchess is proceeding well, no definate date as yet I'm afraid.

A big thankyou to all at Princess Locomotive Trust Butterly , the day spent driving 6233 proved most enlightening.

The free downloads section is now up and running with some of the more popular downloads entered, more items to add soon including stock from the IHH Bonus Pack.

After the Duchess its back to classic diesels, one not seen so far......... but more soon.
